In April 2014, Scooplight Theatre was invited by the Rottnest Island Authority to provide a sneak peek of Capturing the Enemy as part of the many events that had been organised for the National Heritage Festival.
In the historic Lomas Cottage, located on the lovely Heritage Common, actors presented readings of scenes from the play, which was still in development, over the 2 day festival. This was a great opportunity to have an audience and receive some feedback which could still be incorporated into the final production.. It was also a chance for visitors to at least experience the production who may not able to return for the performance season in June. July and August.
We also enjoyed watching some of the other events during our break and take in the atmosphere...and a few fumes from the fire demonstration outside the cottage!
Actors: Mike Hodgen, Tristan McInnes, Connor Delves, Peter Niblett and Nick Pages-Oliver.
